Architecture and scaling work for a large social platform with around 70 million daily users and traffic peaks of roughly 20,000 requests per second. Topics included distributed services, Cassandra migration, anti-spam systems, deployment automation, and large-scale A/B testing. Release cycles improved from weekly deployments to multiple releases per day without downtime.
Automotive Enterprise Engineering Modernization
Support for enterprise development teams improving CI/CD, test automation, trunk-based development, and engineering workflows. One modernization initiative increased automated test coverage from roughly 30–50% to around 90%. The goal was mostly to reduce unnecessary complexity and make software delivery less painful for everyone involved.
AI-Assisted Software Development
Consulting work around integrating AI into software development without producing large amounts of machine-generated chaos. The focus included modular architectures, automated testing, CI/CD, local vs cloud models, and experiments with AI agents in development workflows. It turns out AI also benefits from readable code and reasonable architecture.
Health Tech Startup and Product Development
Built a health tech platform for self-funded health insurance in the US market. The work combined software architecture, MVP development, product discovery, business model experiments, and investor discussions. The platform was built with Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, and AngularJS under typical startup conditions: limited time, changing assumptions, and controlled chaos.
